Net income was $1,840,000 for the second quarter against a loss of $2,743,000 last year, on revenues that jumped 144% to $73,309,000 from $30,014,000, benefitting from growth at Black Diamond and Sierra and incremental sales from Barnes Bullets. Gross margin increased 280 basis points to 38.2%, helped by channel and product mix that more than offset higher supply chain and logistics expenses. SG&A was up 43% in dollars due to the inclusion of Barnes and higher stock-based compensation, but leveraged 2000 b.p. on the sales bounceback.
