Sales Per Employee Rose By Over 17 Percent In 2021

Aggregate, year-over-year employee headcount at 19 sporting goods companies rose 9.7% in 2021 as average sales per employee (SPE) at these firms increased 17.4% to $556,000 as the nation emerged from a pandemic-impacted year and realized escalating consumer demand.
