AOUT’s profit grew more than fourfold in its fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31 against a slim $77,000 gain last year, on 4% higher revenues of $60,232,000 up from $57,931,000, boosted by growth in outdoor lifestyle and shooting sports. Revenues through e-commerce channels—including both direct-to-consumer and wholesale sales to e-tailers, increased almost 4% to $24.3 million, while traditional brick-and-mortar channels improved by more than 4% to $36.0 million. U.S. sales were up 3% to $56.8 million, and the small international business jumped 15% to $3.4 million.
