The world’s largest bicycle manufacturer saw Q1 net profit jump 170% to TWD 1.7 billion ($60.8 mm) on 55% higher revenues of TWD 20.62 billion ($737.4 mm), boosted by continued strong demand in the global market, with gains from both OE and private label.
Net income expanded 64% in the first quarter to BRL 14,602,000 ($2.7 mm) from BRL 8,914,000 at Under Armour and Mizuno’s Brazilian distributor and licensee, as revenues increased 31% to BRL 311,886,000 ($57.0 mm) against BRL 238,636,000.
