High level talks will resume next week between the two countries with a goal of completing a deal by the end of April, but the issue of when tariffs on China will be lifted remains a sticking point with President Trump saying that he expected to leave the tariffs on for a “substantial” period as a way to make sure China lives up to its commitments.
