Centauro Sees Q1 Profit, but Q2 Looks Bad


The largest sporting goods retailer in Brazil, and Nike’s distributor there, turned a net profit of BRL 8,140,000 ($1.8 mm) in the first quarter against a loss of BRL 4,143,000 last year, as sales slipped 4% to BRL 505,615,000 ($113.4 mm) from BRL 527,177,000.
