GEN-X SPORTS ACQUIRES VOLANT.


The Toronto company’s purchase of the operating assetsand intellectual properties of Volant Sports, LLC marks its third acquisitionof a distressed SG company this year. In Mar., Gen-X acquired Teardrop Golf,which it renamed the Tommy Armour Golf Co., and in Jul. it agreed to purchaseUltraWheels’ parent First Team Sports for approximately $10.41 million cash.
