World Athletics Considers New Rules on Nike Vaporfly


The controversial marathon racing flats that have been worn in a number of high profile records recently are likely to be subject to new regulations by World Athletics on the thickness of soles and the use of carbon plates in competition, according to numerous reports. The impact for Nike from a commercial standpoint is important as road racers of almost all levels have been switching to the $250 Vaporfly, giving the Eager Beavertons their first significant lift in the running specialty market in some time.
