Under Armour Nearly Lost Steph Curry in 2018
The face of Under Dog basketball had considered terminating his endorsement deal with the company during tense 2018 contract negotiations, the New York Times reported. Curry was not happy with UA chief Kevin Plank’s praising President Trump in 2017 as “a real asset” to the country, a position he later walked back in a full page newspaper ad.
