Trump Threatens Tariffs on Virtually All China Imports
President Trump said he is willing to put tariffs on some $500 million in imports from China during a CNBC interview, doubling down on a policy that has already seen 25% tariffs imposed on $34 billion worth of imports with another $167 billion to come and exploring 10% tariffs on an additional $200 billion worth of imports. A few sporting goods categories have fallen into the second bucket of tariffs, but this last step would surely hit the industry very hard.
