Sportsman’s Warehouse Net Falls on Tough Comparison


The bottom line plunged 81% to $1,998,000 in the first quarter from $10,450,000 last year, on a 5% decline in revenues to $309,505,000 from $326,992,000, including an 11.6% drop in same store sales. SPWH reported lower demand across all product categories compared to the government stimulus-boosted quarter last year, which also saw increased interest in firearms and ammo that was triggered by social unrest.
