Smith & Wesson Buys Battenfeld for $130.5mm
The transaction is slated to close in mid- to late-December for the maker of gun cleaning supplies under several brand names. Battenfeld, founded in 1992, has had a compound annual revenue growth rate of more than 18% over the last six years that has been fueled by contributions from new products and acquisitions of small, specialty hunting accessory firms such as BOG-POD and GoldenRod.
