Riddell Settles with Kranos, BSN and Ex-Sales Reps
After winning a $5 million jury award in its patent infringement suit against Schutt-parent Kranos in May, Riddell has reached a final settlement with the company to head off any further appeals. Kranos had asked the No. IL District Court judge to set aside the verdict and grant a new trial, arguing that the jury had miscalculated the royalty damages and made other mistakes in reaching the $5 million number.
