Retail Imports Set to Slow in H2


After a first half of 2022 that continued last year’s record pace, retail imports to the ports of LA and Long Beach are forecast to decline slightly in the back half of the year, according to the NRF and Hackett Associates. Any labor disruption from the ongoing negotiations between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and the Pacific Maritime Association could result in a much larger decline, of course.
