Republican Senators Take Aim at China


A new effort to return China to its pre-2001 trade status is underway with the China Trade Relations Act, introduced by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and co-sponsored by Rick Scott (R-FL), Ted Budd (R-NC) and J.D. Vance (R-OH). The bill aims to strip China of its Permanent Normal Trade Relations status, returning it to annual presidential approval for Most Favored Nation status.
