Following a contentious eight-months that has already resulted in a successful auction for the gunmaker’s assets, the Alabama bankruptcy court addressed the final round of objections and signed off on Remington’s amended chapter 11 plan. Families of Sandy Hook victims had fought throughout the process to preserve the right to continue their lawsuit against the company that made the Bushmaster MSR used in the 2012 school shooting.
