Outdoor Retailer: Season Was a 5 On a Scale of 1-10
Coming off of a year that was a 10, the 2019-20 season is shaping up as pretty much a right down the middle year with some pockets of strength and weakness based on weather and a bit of a hangover in winter apparel. However, it is also true that in areas where the weather was favorable, consumers continue to spend fairly freely in a still solid economy. A strong indicator of overall health in the outdoor market was that the number of dogs patrolling the aisles was way up, a clear indication that spirits are generally good. It didn’t hurt ...
