OIA Trade Webinar Warns of China Risks


The Outdoor Industry Association’s outside trade attorneys, Ron Sorini and Andrew Samet, see several key trade programs returning soon, including Section 301 tariff exclusions, the Generalized System of Preferences program and perhaps a new Miscellaneous Tariff Bill. In the OIA’s trade-focused webinar, they acknowledged that the Biden Administration has pushed off dealing with trade issues to focus on the pandemic, but said a new Section 301 exclusion process may be introduced as soon as in the next 60 days.
