Nike Doping Scandal Suggests CEO Knew of Testosterone Tests
An arbitration panel found Nike track coach Alberto Salazar tested athletes for a banned topical testosterone treatment to see how much of it could be applied without detection by anti-doping authorities and head Eager Beaverton Mark Parker was looped in via e-mails on the tests, according to a report in the New York Times. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency suspended Salazar and an endocrinologist, Jeffrey Borwn, from competition for four-years as a result of the tests that were conducted from 2009-2011.
