New Balance Sues Liverpool to Extend Kit Deal
Claiming it has the right to match Nike’s reported £80 million per year offer for Liverpool, New Balance has taken the club to court to enforce the deal. The club is arguing that because of the Eager Beavertons’ global distribution muscle, the deals are still not equivalent even if New Balance matches the £80 million. The current deal for £45 million expires in June.
