Mexico Sues Gunmakers in Federal Court
Estados Unidos Mexicanos, the Mexican government, has filed suit against several U.S. firearms companies in Boston federal court, accusing them and their retailers of negligent sales practices that allow drug cartels to easily acquire military grade weapons. The defendants are manufacturers Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Century Arms, Colt, Glock, Ruger and Barrett, along with wholesaler Interstate Arms.
