Maker of Polara Golf Ball Files for Bankruptcy


Aero-X Golf, which sells the Polara golf ball that claims to reduce hooks and slices by up to 75%, filed for bankruptcy protection in VA listing $500,000 to $1 million in assets and $1 million to $10 million in liabilities. Funds will be available to unsecured creditors, it said in its initial filing. The largest creditor is David Felker, the inventor of the ball, with a $1,282,349 judgment against the company. A factory, Foremost Golf Manufacturing in Taiwan, is listed as having a $1,000,000 claim. The company received a $1.375 million settlement in 1985 from the USGA over its ban ...
