Kohl’s Active Sales Jumped 25% in Q4


Active segment sales grew 25% in the final quarter, including strong results from performance, athleisure and outdoor categories, which were broad-based across women’s, men’s and children’s apparel as well as in footwear. The growth was supported by a good in-stock position from key brands Nike, Under Armour, Adidas and Champion, and the retailer noted that its relationship with the Eager Beavertons is “terrific.” Levi’s, Vans, Ninja, Koolaburra by UGG, Lego and Hurley also outperformed in Q4, as did Kohl’s private brands FLX, Tek Gear and Sonoma. The segment was up more than 40% for the year.
