Kohl’s Active Sales Grow in Q4


Active sales continued to be a bright spot for Kohl’s in the Holiday quarter, with apparel up mid-single digits, and footwear “a bit lower” than that, driven by expanded active departments in 160 of its stores. The retailer’s partnership with Fanatics dramatically expanded its online assortment of licensed apparel, which drove a men’s comp improvement along with strong sales from Adidas, Under Armour and Nike. Women’s was soft overall, but Columbia outerwear was called out as a positive.
