The Big a’s CEO since 2016 will resign from that role some time in 2023, after a suitable successor can be recruited, in what was described as a joint decision between Rorsted and Adidas’ supervisory board. Board chairman Thomas Rabe said that “the time is now right to initiate a change to give the company a fresh start,” following several difficult years managing through the pandemic and geopolitical tensions.
