Johnson Outdoors Has Profit in Q1


JOUT reported net income of $4,056,000 compared to a loss of $534,000 for the three months ended Dec. 30 in a seasonally small quarter that saw revenues rise 10% to $93,729,000 from $85,298,000. The company said new products in the Minn Kota and Humminbird brands generated strong pre-season orders and it saw some recovery in the diving market from strength in Europe and North America.
