JD Sports Plots U.S. Domination after Strong 2020 at Finish Line


The U.K.-based retail giant’s revenues jumped 11% in the U.S. for the year ended Jan. 30 to £1,780.5 million ($2,282.7 mm), by far its strongest geography—including JD’s own stores, Finish Line and the Macy’s shop-in-shops—up from £1,611.0 the year before. The struggles in implementing a cutting edge e-commerce system that plagued FINL in its last year as a public company, were subsequently ironed out, and provided the foundation for a stellar online performance last year.
