Globeride Outperforms in June Quarter
The Daiwa fishing and golf brand owner’s net income was up more than eight fold to ¥3,953 million ($36.1 mm) in its fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from just ¥448 million last year, as revenues jumped 62% to ¥33,015 million ($301.8 mm) from ¥20,377 million. Results were also far better than in 2019, buoyed by growing global demand for fishing and golf gear.
