Giant Manufacturing Sales Gain in 2018 after Declines


The world’s largest bike maker returned to top line growth last year, powered largely by the growing worldwide demand for e-bikes, after two straight years of sales declined in 2017 and 2016. Giant finished 2018 with a solid final quarter, as profits than more than doubled to NT$1,206.1 million ($39.1 mm) in Q4 against NT$485.5 million on 14% higher revenues of NT$22,403.0 million ($725.5 mm) up from NT$19,573.9 million.
