Garmin Outdoor and Fitness Segments Grow in Q2
Fitness segment revenues increased 12% to $251,653,000 from $225,095,000 in the second quarter ended Jun. 29 on gains in running and additional revenue from the recently acquired Tacx cycling accessory brand. But gross margin contracted 250 basis points to 53.7% and operating income for the segment was down 4% to $50,413,000 from $52,548,000.
