Escalade Net Tumbles on Soft Fitness and Outdoor Demand


Net income slipped 30% to $5,673,000 in the second quarter ended July 9 against $8,126,000 last year on 5% lower revenues of $94,337,000 from $99,679,000, as demand within the fitness and outdoor categories softened. Despite the strong organic growth for indoor games, pickleball, and the contribution from the Jan.
