Delta Apparel Sales Slip 4% in December Quarter
Strength in Salt Life and DTG2Go was not enough to overcome the core Delta Direct segment struggling with an excess of inventory at its retail partners, sending total sales down 4% to about $106 million the fiscal first quarter ended Dec. 31. The preliminary results were shared ahead of a fireside chat at the 2023 ICR Conference, noting that Salt Life posted a 17% gain with growth in both DTC and wholesale, while DTG2Go came in +20% over the prior year.
