Columbia, Yue Yuen, Latest to Warn on Coronavirus Impact


Columbia Sportswear said its 2020 results will be “significantly affected” by the coronavirus, and will update guidance when it reports Q1 on Apr. 30. COLM gets about 5% of total revenues from sales in China, and about 15% from its total Asia direct business, which includes Japan, China and Korea. About half of its own and partner PRC stores remain closed, and traffic is way down at those that are open. The outbreak in Japan and Korea has also depressed store traffic there.
