Coleman Sales Fall in Q4
Sales at Newell’s Home & Outdoor Living segment, which includes Coleman, declined 7% in the final quarter to $809 million from $872 million including a core sales decline of 3% attributed to Coleman’s lost distribution at a key U.S. retailer. NWL opted not to lower prices on Coleman coolers and airbeds because of margin consequences, and expects that some of that lost business will come back later in 2019.
