Chinese Brands’ Sales Improved in Final Quarter
Following Anta Sports’ sales update last week, Chinese sneaker and apparel brands China Dongxiang, Xtep and 361 Degrees released preliminary retail sales results for the Dec. quarter. China Dongxiang’s Kappa stores—excluding Kappa Kids—registered low-teens growth overall in Q4, helped by brick-and-mortar sales that were up mid-single digits including a low-single digit positive comp, and e-commerce sales that grew mid-twenties.
