California Student Athlete Pay Bill Becomes Law
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law the Fair Pay to Play Act, which will allow student athletes at CA colleges and universities to earn money from their name, image, or likeness despite intense lobbying against the bill by the NCAA, Pac-12 conference and UCLA, USC and Stanford.
