The Concerned Shareholders of Big 5 Group, which is backed by securities litigation firm Johnson Fistel, has proposed former Wal-Mart SVP Mel Redman and former Vans EVP Jeff Moore to fill the two vacant seats on the BGFV board. CSB5’s efforts to shake up the moribund retailer began in May when it approached Big 5’s board with a number of changes that it says would improve performance.
