Alpen Profits Expand in First Half
Net income at the Japanese retailer more than quadrupled to ¥2,374 million ($21.8 mm) in the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31 from ¥541 million on 3% higher revenues of ¥114,829 million ($1,056.4 mm) up from ¥111,717 million.
