The two had been set to renew their partnership that expires this year when the NCAA basketball investigation broke and that deal was put on hold. Now, they have agreed to extend the deal for another 12 years at a reported cost of $14 million per year on what appear to be substantially the same terms as they had initially agreed upon. The current deal pays the Jayhawks about $3.4 million annually, reflecting the escalation in prices for top tier college athletic programs.
