Caleres net income slipped 11% to $17,595,000 from $19,768,000 in the second quarter ended Jul. 29 pulled down by a $3.0 million after tax charge for the Allen Edmonds integration, as revenues gained 9% to $676,954,000 from $622,937,000.
New owner Camping World had earlier designated 57 stores that it would keep open from the original 160 when the chain filed for Chapter 11.
The consultant group sees total sales of wearables rising 17% this year to 310.37 million units from 265.88 million last year with sports watches and fitness monitors essentially flat but strong growth in smart watches, head-mounted displays, body-worn cameras, Bluetooth headsets and wristbands.
The combined shows will be held Nov. 10-12 in the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
