Net income surged 19% in the fourth quarter to $11,610,000 from $9,718,000 as revenues increased 15% to $125,764,000 from $109,140,000 on the strength of Octane Fitness sales, but organic sales declined single-digits in both Retail and Direct segments.
Net income was A$2,495,000 ($1.9 mm) compared to A$2,904,000 on sales that dipped 11% to A$70,478,000 ($54.1 mm) against A$78,834,000 for the first half ended Dec. 31.
Vail Resorts, Inc. will pay $50 million, subject to adjustments, for the ski-related assets of the resort to Mount Mansfield Corp. and acquire its first resort on the East Coast.
Jared Drinkwater will join the company as chief marketing officer from Pizza Hut, where he was VP of marketing.
