Vulcabras Bounces Back in Final Quarter

Net income at the Brazilian footwear maker increased 21% in the final quarter to BRL 54,583,000 ($10.6 mm) from BRL 45,090,000, on 23% higher revenues of BRL 459,054,000 ($89.1 mm) up from BRL 373,865,000. Business rebounded after factories were allowed to reopen in July, and retail stores were mostly open in Q4, albeit with restrictions on traffic and hours. Athletic footwear sales grew 22% to BRL 334.1 million driven by strength in from Olympikus and Under Armour.
