Vietnam Covid Restrictions Extended in Ho Chi Minh City


Covid-related restrictions in Vietnam were scheduled to be lifted on Sep. 15, but the government has now extended very strict lockdowns in Ho Chi Minh City through the end of the month after failing to meet targets in control the Delta variant outbreak. The southern city, which experienced the worst of the resurgence, not only closed factories and other businesses, but effectively prohibited anyone leaving home.
