Tilly’s Sales Slump During Q2, Some CA Stores Reclosed
Total sales were $101.8 million from May 3 through Jul. 14 compared to $112.4 million last year with brick-and-mortar sales down 37% to $60.7 million compared to $96.9 million, partially offset by a 166% increase in e-commerce sales to $41.2 million from $15.5 million. All 239 stores were closed at the beginning of the quarter but it reopened 144 stores during the second half of May, and another 88 in Jun. and had 98% of its store fleet open.
