Teen Survey Finds Athletic Slipping, Under Armour an ‘Old Brand’
Piper Jaffray’s biannual teen survey of 6,100 teens shows that an athletic brand is the favorite apparel brand for one-third this Fall, down from 40% during the Spring survey. Nike remains the top brand on this list at 23%, but that is down sharply from 29% in the last survey with Adidas and American Eagle picking up most of the slack. Vans also made it into the Top 10 of apparel brands for average income teens for the first time with strong support from males.
