Kathmandu Sales Gain in Fiscal H1


Comprehensive net income declined 68% at the downunder retailer and Oboz parent to NZ$5,847,000 ($4.0 mm) from NZ$18,254,000 in the fiscal first half ended Jan. 31, pulled down by an unfavorable swing in cash flow hedge and foreign currency hedge reserves. Net income excluding comprehensive items gained 14% to NZ$13,954,000 from NZ$12,277,000 on 13% higher revenues of NZ$232,024,000 ($160.5 mm) up from NZ$204,811,000.
