Sales at HELE’s housewares segment, which includes Hydro Flask, declined 3% to $140,628,000 in the fiscal first quarter ended May 31 from $144,942,000 due to store closures at wholesale customers. Housewares operating income was off 26% to $23,233,000 from $31,200,000.
