G-III Returns to Profit as Sales Rebound

Net income was $26,321,000 in the first quarter ended Apr. 30, against a loss of $39,295,000 last year, on 28% higher revenues of $519,910,000 up from $405,131,000. The prior year’s quarter included $15 million in operating losses from since-shuttered Wilsons Leather and G.H. Bass retail business.
