Winchester Revenues, Earnings Soar in Q2
Olin Corp.’s Winchester division saw sales for the second quarter more than double to $404.0 million from $192.6 million last year, boosted by revenue from the Lake City U.S. Army Ammunition Plant. Segment earnings were $109.9 million up from $16.0 million in the second quarter 2020, Both military and commercial ammo sales are surging, and demand has allowed Winchester to raise commercial ammunition prices, which more than offset higher commodity costs.
