Vista Outdoor Sells Eyewear Business for $158 Million
An unidentified European private equity fund will take over the Bollé, Cébé and Serengeti eyewear brands as part of VSTO’s previously announced plan to restructure its business with a focus on ammunition and a few key outdoor assets such as Camelbak, Bushnell and Camp Chef. Still on the divestiture list are its firearms business (Savage and Stevens), its protective business (Bell, Giro and Blackburn) and the Jimmy Styks paddle board brand.
